RMCO Lockdown Home Cooking Part II

Six months have passed since the first lockdown on 18th March 2020. This blog had been reactivated on Father’s Day (21st June) after the RMCO with 7 makan-makan trips. Our last get-together was a brunch at Sungai Rambai, Bukit Mertajam.  The latest social distancing regulations meant that we had to take up two tables every time we meet at restaurants. A bit odd for our liking. And Penang’s green record has been broken a couple of times. As senior citizens, we just have to take the extra precaution.

Covid 19 has taken nearly a million lives already! 31 million people, which is just a million short of Malaysia’s population, have been infected. We have better take this new norm seriously. For sure, the new norm will be here to stay for quite a while. Malaysians are quite a fortunate lot in that our Health Ministry is doing a great job keeping our total infection rate at just over 10,000 for the entire period. Some countries record 100,000 in a day!! In fact, a second wave has landed in many countries.

We noticed that our blog has been dormant for quite some time. So, we decided to reactivate it with RMCO Lockdown Home Cooking Part II. Do enjoy more wonderful dishes from the comforts of the home of Vincent and Cewie on alternate days. Don’t count the calories, remember the memories!

A Belated and Blessed Malaysia Day!
