Hardwicke House (HH) is an old colonial mansion built in 1886.  HH was in the INPenang’s 10 Best Restaurants in Penang. Being part of the Vouk Hotel Suites, HH claims to be the best valued lunch in town. The set lunch costs RM22 per set and each hearty set comes with an appetizer, soup of the day, main course, dessert and freshly brewed coffee or tea. To support their claim, parking is ample and free!

We have a choice of mixed grill, coconut fish, fish fillet, pizza, aromatic Chicken or homemade lasagna for the main dish. We ventured on the coconut fish and the aromatic chicken. 

 The fish came breaded with coconut flakes, together giant fries and tartar sauce. Double big portions of tilapia. Perhaps a bit dry. 

 The aromatic chicken was well-garnished in black pepper sauce. Quite a big portion too! 

The home-made dessert was well-presented with a nice spoonful of ice-cream and double fruit tarts.
