21/8/2019 - Master Keong

This is a newly opened Chinese restaurant located in a spacious bungalow at Jalan Burmah. Ample parking and a wonderful setting. Apparently, Master Keong the chef is already an established chef and he still maintains his restaurant at Lebuh Macallum. Service at this restaurant is top notch with an attentive captain on call.


Master Keong’s signature grouper fish head curry is on promotion for the month of August. A generous 50 % discount. The dish came in a big pot and it was certainly delicious.



We also tried the “dong po rou” (braised pork belly in black soy sauce) and the meat was really tender and glazed.


The hot plate tofu and garlic chives were up to the mark. Our last dish was the spare ribs soup in “old” cucumber. 



The management surprised us with a complimentary white fungus tong sui with jelly and dates. Pretty good food at a reasonable price! Thumbs up to Master Keong!
