23/07/2019 - Summer Time Restaurant

Summer Time Restaurant is located at 24 Nanning Street, off MacAlister Road. This Cantonese restaurant is famous for its claypot seafood porridge, especially the prawn and crab combination. However, we were not in the mood for porridge that day.

Instead we had roasted pig’s trotters, mango chicken, curry fish nyonya style, kale vegetable with seaweed and Chinese sausage, chive roll with minced prawn and fish cake  and assorted tofu.

The curry fish nyonya style was very appetizing. The curry gravy had a nice blend of favours.

The assorted tofu comes with the “charcoal dust” black tofu. The other dishes were decent.

The waitresses were attentive and service was very good. Each of us received a complimentary bowl of guilinggao (black turtle jelly) for dessert.

We will have to come back to savour their seafood delights.
