Pho Vietz @ Queensbay

Pho Vietz is the new “Vietnamese kid on the block” in Penang although it is quite an established chain in Kuala Lumpur.
Our eating kaki group went there before noon and there was already a lunch queue. Another crowded day.
As the restaurant is in a mall, seating places are somewhat limited.

The 4-beef pho (noodle soup) was highly recommended. It comes with Australian beef slices, beef shank, beef brisket and beef balls. Nice and tasty beef slices. But the soup was somewhat a bit saltish. Meanwhile the non-beef eaters had the pork rib noodles soup and the marinated lemon grass pork chop rice. The pork chop rice was about average while the pork ribs were a bit tough.

We also ordered spring rolls and prawn rolls as side dishes. Each came with their accompanying sauce.

They were okay but not stand-outs. Price-wise, this probably ranks amongst the more expensive Vietnamese restaurants on the island.
