Summer Garden is a bit of an oddity in that it serves Western as well as Nyonya cuisine. Located at Lorong Lembah Permai 3 (next to the main road), the restaurant is located on a spacious bungalow with ample parking. The décor is minimalist but cosy.
We opted for the nyonya selection. The dark sauce pork trotter in sweet vinegar (too kar chor) is a must-try and really exceptional. Every eating kaki loves it!
Their nasi kerabu serving is big and does not disappoint. It is fragrant with all kinds of herbs, shallots and dried shrimps. Thumbs up.
Our other orders such as belacan bitter gourd, chicken kapitan, gulai tumis fish head, jiu hu char and khao bak are okay.
The price for the 6 dishes and nasi ulam for 7 persons came to RM210, perhaps a wee bit pricier.
wow, awesome nyonya dishes - the one that attarcts me most woudl be the jiuhoo-char. Best with lettuce leafs and sambal belacan
